I am about to Weld the spiders in my 14 bolt ff. Anything I should know before I dig in? anything special about it? This will be my first time in a 14 bolt. I have done a few 9inches and a few 44's. ( I know this is different then a 9 inch)

not much special about a 14 bolt, they're similar to a 9 inch. Pretty easy diff to work on, go ahead and weld away...

I put plates inside, between the gaps in the spiders, so that it was a solid chunk, not just 8 welds. I also plug welded the carrier to the spiders after I got it back together, through the holes on either side.
