6.0 Liter conversion
anyone do a 6.0 conversion (manual trans ) here in Cali & get thru smog
The tow rig needs some love (3/4 ton 'Burb) searching 6.0 Gm hasn't brought much David kennedy pulled this off on a Diesel Burb

Since the 6.0L and 5.3L are the same size block I have heard of some in Cali swapping the 6.0L in and the inspectors not even knowing it because they look the same! And since you have to tune it anyway for a 6.0L the tune needs to be good enough to pass a smog check. As for a manual trans swap you rlooking at a lot of time and money it's kind of a waste of time.

Unless your talking about the truck in your Sig. Then doesn't the engine have to conform to the emission of the year it was made? If so thats not that hard and if the trucks already set up for a manual which one does it have?
