Possible concern
Jason:
Not sure if you'd seen this yet or not, but figured I'd ask. See the carrier bearing discussion that begins with post #942 in this thread: /forum/general-4x4-discussion/748630-my-new-build-thread.html Is this the same carrier bearing arrangement that you're using in your front driveline? Any cause for concern here? |

It is a little concerning
. I do have the 32 spline version but not certain on the hardness.

Heading out this morning to sand lake to get some testing in. Thanks for all the compliments. The rebuild has taken twice as long as I had planned but with a little luck all the extra time will be worth it if every thing works right.
I wasn't sure how it was gonna come out since I kept the same width but went so much taller. WB 136" (was in the 122" range) Width sidewall to sidewall 96" (same as before) Belly height 32" (don't recall old height) Not sure what the roof height is. If I dump the air in the tires until the wheel is about 8" off the floor and I put the winch on the front axle it will roll out the shop door with out swapping tires. |
