yes.....but they differ. IIRC the flat top D44 knuckles had it so the tie rod dropped in from the top. The later ones went from the bottom. So do the 10 bolt ones.......

yes. i dont know exactly when they switched the taper direction but you need to pay attention that you get them to match.

thanks guys ill look at tie rod end the problem is a buddy has a 10 bolt in a wrangler and wants me to weld a drop pitman arm on the pass side kuckle only problem is the flange is real small dont want it to look shitty but i have a spair dana 44 with flat tops both sides we where going to swap out then i would have more surface of welding and strength???

DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELD TO THE KNUCKLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is cast iron and will not hold.
