check out the new k-5
just pretty well stock motor(truck avenger, fans, etc.) with 52 inch springs up front and stock 1 tonne leafs in rear(4 leafs removed) and locked up 14 bolt and dana 60, 4 inches of lift and 40 inch boggers.... let me know what you think... trail pics comin some time......
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() None of these pics are at full flex. The highest we got it was so the bottom of the rear quarter was about 6 and a half feet off the ground....and it still didn't feel like it was close to lifting a tire (very stabile) |

what springs are you running? what kind of terrain? ***edit, reread the 1st post***
flex pic is fucking sick. time to go beat the body to pieces i have been contemplating 52's but my blazer is currently my DD, how much body roll do you get, or is this a street driven rig at all? Last edited by bucksntrucks969; 06-03-2008 at 03:12 PM. |

What shock setup are you going to run in the front?
What's your plan for the front driveshaft? 1350, 1410, CV's ect. What is your overall length, bottom of the frame rail, to the bottom(tip?) of the front bumpstops? Plan on a build thread? Don't make us wait to long for more pics.

looks like almost all the flex is in the front. Need to work on that rear. Pretty much gonna have to remove those fenders or never turn in order to flex like that for anything but poser pics.

Post number 8.
![]() What shock setup are you going to run in the front? What's your plan for the front driveshaft? If you look real close, the rear d/s is there. Don't piss him off yet, let's give him a chance to be dumber than me!

thanks for input everyone. Man am I sorry for the "poser" pics
haha but I think before you put a front driveshaft and front shocks in you gotta measure how much travel they need to have by flexing the truck out and measuring... and it does have the rear in pics...... thanks anyways. For now, the front driveshaft is just the stock one out of the blazer lengthened a bit and the rear is one from the one tonne pickup I got all the running gear out of. They seem to work okay so far but one day I would definitely like to get some proper ones made up and the shocks are just some cheap procomps.
