This makes me want to get started on my suburban conversion. Thanks for posting up this build thread. Seeing all of your pics helps out a lot to see what all I need.

Thanks

Front cage is basically done, Just need to mount my fans then pull them and the radiator and weld everything I can't get to. I need to pull the steering box to get a gusset and finish welding the down tube right there also

Looks way too busy

Kind of compromised with the shock mount gusset

Front is just about done, I've gotta cut out the cross bar and weld on some flanges to make it removable. I just ordered them the other day.

Then I've gotta pull the radiator and steering box for final welding

I've got about 5 more bars to do tomorrow out back.

.095 material is 100x nicer to work with

I got a plus 3" seat, I think this will go to the passenger side and I'm gonna get a custom +6" or 7" seat.

I'm only 6'2 but this seat only comes to the base of my skull

Definitely not, I'd mount it if the other side wasn't cut up

Takes up about half the windsheild

Might try to figure out a way to mount it just to be funny every now and then though

I think if you mounted it, you would definitely get a pic in the Ghetto fab/Hack job thread.

Fuarking shocks are too long, I can get about 5" up travel if I mount them on the backside of the axle. Might do that or just sell them

Shocks mounted, 5.5" uptravel, should be fine. Might get a zero rate just to be safe

Lower bumper is all welded
