does this sound right crew cab onto 2dr c+c chassis

Ok so i have a c+c 2 door truck with i think 131" wb..I bought it because it had the 454 tbi and 1 tons..I need more room so i refreshed a crew cab to slap on..I was aware that id need to run a body lift or cut the floor..I found that id have to cut way too much to drop the cab low enough and the tanks dont fit..Seems that on my frame where it kicks up there is also a crossmember. The mounts dont line up at all except for the very front..I cut some 3" 3" dia meter pipe to get an idea..It seems as iff i leave the rear sections against the frame and build a center mount then some rear mounts i will need the 3" body lift pucks at teh front cab mounts and rad support..Im not happy with this but i dont have much time to refab the floor of the truck.Plus it needs to look all stock and clean on theinside as its just a daily and tow pig.

Ive searched but havent found anybody running stock saddle tanks in place with the body lift..So does anybody know if that will work..even if i have to drill new holes to mount the tanks an inch lower? The truck will never really see a trail other than towing my dodge into the trail.

Other than extaending the shift arm, to the tranny and cutting the fan shroud will i need to hack anything else on the body lift?
