.. i just bought a 2001 chevy. the othere day its only 2wheel drive .. but its my daily drive so it dosent matter.. but its a little small.. i was wondering if anyone else out there has put a fabtech 3in suspension lift on their truck... i know you can just get the spindles and blocks or the profomance wich comes with new springe.. etc.. what size tire can you fit.. i think its 32in . but iam just wanting to make sure.. just tell me what yall think.. i also forgot to ask.. do they make one for 2001.. ive only seen them for 99's and 00's .. but i would think its the same thing as a 01 .. if anyone knows tell me .. thanks <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0">

i have..just need to save some cash so i can get the lift and tires at the same time... if anyone has already done this lift let me know where you got it and how you like it.. <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0">

ive been calling around and i dont understand.. some people say you can fit stock wheels with this lif but you cant get a lager tire and otheres say you have to get a wheel with an off set of 4 and 5/8 ... .. i would guess if you could fit a stock wheel couldnt you just get a bigger tire but the same width if anyone has any knowlege of this please just let me know .. thanks

I assume you are talking about wheel backspaceing, not offset. Offset is positive or negative from the center of the wheel, just to clarify that. I would say a stock wheel (7"wide?) is a little narrow for a wider tire. That would cause the tire to bulge more & then possibly rub on the control arms or somethig. In that case you would either need a wheel w/ less backspace or maybe a wider wheel for less tire bulge.
Just my (somewhat) educated guess.
