93 s10 blazer build. new 38s and hp d60 rear :)
hey guys heres my truck.. started stock, then a 3" bl, toorsion crank shackles and 33s.. stayed like that for a while now its solid axle, running a d30/d35 4.10s and 38s. its got rock sliders on it, true duals and a few more lil things..
The truck is loaded with all the fun things, power seats, power mirrors, black leather, all that good stuff. also its a dd. heres a vid of the first time i took it out wheelin.. its got true duals with warlocks, but i ripped one side off so i took out the cut-out on the other.. a lil to loud tho.. also this is where a d30 doesnt like 38s lol.. ![]() ![]() ![]() suspension seems to work good, gonna try and get a little more out of it.. ![]() all in all im pleased with it but now its time to upgrade.. i just picked up a chev d60 front with 4.10s king pin style and a d60 rear with 4.10s. Front is getting ford knuckles out (switching it for drw to srw) and ill have the dual piston calipers on it etc.. I ordered my high steer arms yesterday, and pick up my new tires on monday.. 38x15.5x16.5 tsl's. just need some wheels now. Trying to do this on a budget as im only 19 and my job isnt the greatest. Very nice! Love the vid... Yeah those bamboo D-30 axles dont like that much tire!

you'd be better off just having the chevy knuckles machined to srw, the ford knuckles are weaker especially when you use highsteer.

i should be fine with the ford ones for what i do around ehre.. no serious rock crawling or anything like that..just need an axle that gonna handle some abuse.. and 38s on a locked d44 and 5500lb truck might not be the greatest...

well i picked up 2 out of 4 tires tonight, 38x15.5x16.5 tsl's. get teh other 2 next week when i get paid. then i just need some rims and brakes on my d60 rear and its install time... btw my cam died on me so no pics right now..

update time... got my tires..
38x15.5x16.5 tsl's.. ![]() they are a lil bigger/better than what ive got lol... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() also had to rip out my carpet to wash/dry it after going througth the soup bowl, there was puddles underneith so i figure take it out before rust and mold starts, gotta put it back in soon... i plan on the d60 swap shortly after the 2nd spring meet april 26th... i love getting good deals.. my buddy just put 44" boggers on his cj so i bought his old d60 rear, the center section is from a ford hp from d60 with 5.13s, detroit locker, disk, all for $300.. looks like ill be going 5.13s lol... was to good of a deal to pass up...
