Is changing the exhaust gaskets on the 4.3 in a s-10 blazer a PITA, or can I do them with relative ease? I really dont want to spend a lot of money by taking it to an exhaust shop, but it could be one of those days...

hey full, they actually arent to bad if you make sure that you get the kind you can slip in behing the manifold after the bolts are in(Felpro). total time about an hour.

We install manifolds on these engines with no gasket at all. Lasts indefinitely. Any micro-leaks will plug with carbon.

If it still leaks your manifolds are probably warped. Either have the manifolds machined or get better ones.
