If you know of any parts trucks take the front hanger off by grinding or viva la torch and weld or bolt it in place of the rear hanger. Instant 4"

See if this helps. I didn't look into how much lift it gives, but it's worth a look <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Lemme see if I got this straight: You take the front shackle mount off a 3/4 ton (the front? axle) and mount in the rear. Do you use the same bolt holes? Will a one ton shackle work? I Scoutdude's pictures worked, I wouldn't have to ask so many dumb questions.

You can also remove the rear shackle and cut the bottom out of the hanger then replace the shackle in a flipped position.

I have been thinking about making kit that will flip the shackle down. I can cut the parts out on plazma table so they are clean and consistant. but i need a volunteer in the sac area( the guys at work like there lift blocks i guess?) the only thing i need is the money for materials, there are welders, gringers, ect. that i use. If anyone is interested please send me a PM or e-mail. I normally just do toyota stuff but i think that there is a great need for some thing like this. Thanks

It gave 4" of lift and my stock driveline fit but my 4inch extended rancho shocks dont even come close. My pinion angle is perfectits in a straight lie with my drive line but it is horrible with my transfer case I'm going to make the 1" transmitin drop dawn bracket theat usually comes with a 6"lift so its a little better angle there because my U-Joint is almost limeted out sitting on level ground.

I did this with a buddy. He had a extra parts chevy, we pulled the front hanger of the rear springs, were the spring bolted solid to the frame, we grinded the rivets off and pulled it off, then bolted it the the rear of the frame, custom shackle reversal. Im pretty sure that how we did it. I cant remeber if it bolts right up. Does it guys??
