dana 44 parts swapping

can parts from a 3/4 ton ford dana 44 front axle(ring and pinion/carrier/axles/hubs/brakes etc) swap over to a dana 44 1/2 ton chevy front axle? want to convert my chevy to 3/4 ton and got access to a CHEAP set of ford 3/4 ton axles any help?

The gear sets (reverse spiral and standard spiral) and axles (inners) will not interchange. From the balljoints out they should be interchangeable as well as the carriers.

i watched a buddy of mine put a carrier from a ford d44 into a chevy d44 i didnt think it would fit but i was proven wrong also the everything from the knuckles out on a ttb will fit 70s ford d44 front the gears will differ from high to low pinion as far as i know the difference on chevy d44s is the 8 lug hubs and rotors (someone correct me if im wrong) but on fords not too sure and do some reading on redders link that page is excellent for d44 info hope i was of some help
