Post Burban preformance?

My boss has a 95 Suburban 2500 with a 7.4 ohi engine, 4wd. He wants to bump up the preformance a little, and he has in mind a Jet Preformance Chip, and a borla header and exhaust, coupled with a K&N Filter.

Can anyone comment on this set up? And are there any better alternatives for it?

Shift kit. The 4l60e's shift like a sponge w/ lots of power. Tranny cooler would be a good idea too.

DOH! just saw it was a 3/4 ton therefore a 4l80e. Maybe still something to firm up shifts?
