Post Tie-rod ends?

What size taper is there on late 70's 3/4 ton chevy dana44 tie rod end. I mean if I was drilling a steering arm what size taper reamer would I need.
78cj-5 SOA on bds 2.5" dana 60 rear and 44 front. 94 f250 turbo diesel

Just to clarify the above statement, it is 1.5"/ft (inches per foot)
