hey, im lookin at this K30 and i had a coupla general questions. first, would it most likely have a 400? chances for a 454? second, sm465 tranny? third, 203 full-time t-case? also, what axles would a one ton have? 14 bolt rear and what up front?
what do yall think of it? (assuming that i didnt screw up the picture stuff, which i probably)

For a 78, it has either a TH400/NP203 or a SM465/NP205. Engine is either a 400 (auto only) or a 350. I'm not aware of a 4x4 w/454 until after the '80 model year.

Front axle is a Dana 60. Rear is a 14-bolt full-floater.

Judging by that ad however, it has been modified, so it could have almost anything for drivetrain.

The ad says 4-speed, which means it has the sm465.

good deal if it is truly k30 with the dana60 front, otherwise nuttin special

i'd buy it. if it does have a 60, and a 14 bolt, with an np205, plus its already lifted with 39.5s, sounds like a good deal to me.
