I have some serious leakage in the back of my water pump and I'm not too up on the GM 305 being I'm a I6 Jeeper. What's it take to replace it? It look like there's a plate on the back where it's leaking from, could I just replace the gasket?
Should I just get a manual, read about it, break it three more times before actually fixing it and shut the hell up? <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Just replace the pump.
It usualy takes me abot 30-45 min to do this job. Getting a manual is always good. If it is leaking I would replace it ASAP unless you like popping the hood every 10 miles to dump in more water.
