Don't hurt me

correct me of I'm wrong but a Dana 60 front is the same as a Dana 60 rear in respect to the gears and carrier right?

basically I want to know if I can get a Dana 60 rear with 4.10s and swap the carrier and pinion out with my front 60 with 3.73.

I assume Chevy front D60 since you are in this forum, if that is the case, they will be interchangeable. The carrier break is 4.10/4.56 so you are fine.

minus the small issue of side gears... 60 rears generally had 30 spline side gears... you get to swap them out too.
