Question fix for faulty idler arm on 91' 1500???

i have a 91 1500 and the idler arm sux hardcore! it was replaced 6 months ago, and its already going bad. i read somewhere that you can get an upgrade kit for it. whats the best one? is there something elts wrong?

I do beleive that a 3/4 ton shaft will fit. someone will have to back me up on this. I know it can be swapped out on an S10.

The upgrade os to switch to a newer style 3 bolt idler. Try 95 and up. You will have to drill for the extra bolt and the unit is much stronger. Over 100k on mine.

where did you get it, and how much? was it easy to install, what problems showld i expect?
