Had some extra time on my hands and decided to tear into my 12 bolt that went out on me. Removed the cover and saw that 3 of the ring gear bolts were sheared off. Yanked the carrier and found that all but 1 of the bolts were loose. Damnit! Whoever built this thing should be shot! Oh well, at least I got 3.73's and a better peforming truck out of it. Plus, I've trail spares now. Anyone need a 3.08 ring and pinion set? Just had to vent.

It is nice to have parts cluttering the garage. The little lady doesn't like it as much, but oh well. I guess I could put it back together and have a working axle. But 3:08's are not what many people are looking for.
