Yes. Unless it was a stick. And the 4.3 tranny is the same as the SBC tranny. The difference is in the inside. The tranny for the SBC is built with stronger components. Chevy's glorious concept for saving a few bucks. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
