I have a 1994 Bravada with AWD. The AWD does not have a low range. I assume that I can put a transfer case out of a Blazer, Jimmy, S-10 etc. I would like to install a push button type instead of the shift type. Does anyone know what parts I need and the years of the donor vehicle I can use. Any info is greatly appreciated.

The Pirate way would be to swap the T-case, axles, frame, body, engine and trans.
AWD sucks, sell it to a soccer mom and get a true 4x4

try offroad.com in there s10 forum. there is one person on there that changed his bravada. and if you cant find him im sure somebody can help.
i figure the easiest way and best way would be to change to the stick style shifter(less electronics to fail) you can always jury rig a stick if something happens to it. But then again everyone is right sell the bravada and get a real 4wd. I'm fet up with my blazer and am selling it to get a jeep because if i keep investing money in this blazer it would be pointless. It is best to start with a good platform for 4wheelin and an s10 requires too much work and such to get what i want.

The Bravada is the same as the Blazer/Jimmy of the same year. You can change it over easily enough with factory parts. My bro did the opposite on his 93 S10 - its true AWD now instead of part-time 4x4.
You basically need to do change the transfer case and "adjust" the driveshafts. To be correct, you will need to change the front axle (or parts thereof) to make it part-time. The part-time version uses a CAD setup. You could also stick with the full-time front diff and avoid the hassles people have getting is to engage and disengage. All-in-all however, these trucks aren't too sh!t-hot for real wheeling, being IFS and all. IMHO, swap in a solid axle for the front, spring-over on the rear, and get the manual-shift t-case from the Blazer/Jimmy/S10 cousins.
