I'm wanting to know which is better to run a mini spool or weld the rear end up soild, I will only be running the axles through labor day. I mainly just want to find out what it will be like to be locked up. And if welding it is the better option who would be good to do it.

If you can borrow a mini spool, go that route. If you have an extra set of gears and a carrier weld away.
There are some threads on here that even have pics of the welding process. If you were closer I would weld them up for you.

The 10 bolts are being taken out and replaced with a D60 and corp 14. As far as the mini spool it would be buying it.

I wouldnt spend the monet on the spool. You have to know somebody who can weld the gears up for you. this route will cost maybe $10 for the rod. I wouldnt spend the money on a throw away axle. But thats just my opinion. Ryan

I really doubt she wants you to weld the gears in the temporary axle she had in her truck A FREAKIN YEAR AGO!
I'm glad you're looking through old posts instead of asking dumb questions that have been answered before, but... DON'T REPLY TO YEAR OLD POSTS!
