Everyone that has them has had no problems with them. The protection is worth the minor possibility of snagging it on a rock. Besides, THATS what its for, to protect against a rock smashing your yoke. I have one and it will be on my rig when the build is done.

Cannot speak for RuffStuff, but I have the DIY4X4 pinion guard. Indestructible is the only word that comes to mind. Never had the guard be an issue with "hanging" up. Judging by the scares on it, it's doing it's job nicely.

i have the diy one .... drug it a time or 30 ... it works good , its beefy , and i havent had it hinder me really.
i guess if that thing ends up getting in the way and hanging me up ..... the rock would have done wonders on my yoke/shaft anyway.
