here's where the fun starts... i want too put a cab on and a bench seat so my fam can come wheelin also. so first step is too lose the front half of the truck...took some maksing tape and a sawzall..

and seperated..

now that looks funny...

now some frame work..

this is the drivers side splice. i used 2wd one ton frame sections.. worked very very well....

boxed and sleeved the steering box area

my buddy did the welding for me, as i dotn trust me skills yet..

this is passenger side front horn being replaced with 2 wd frame section..

welded everything up..

now onto a custom front crossmember..welded plate on each side..

then welded the crossmember too the plates..

boxed drivers side too add more strength.. couldnt do passenger side because i needed the space for fuel pump..

added some tube for support..

the new cab. i got the cab and front end off a buddy whos' project changed directions so ended up with mint paint and flames for the front end..

here comes the frame...

and married...

boy that looks wierd too me...

and one happy guy!

ICBC= Insurance Corp of BC?

You can lose the extra "o", "to" is only "too" when you mean "also". Sorry, had to say it.

the new hood...

now this is where the p40 warhawk starts too take shape. i wanted a riveted body pane look, but didnt want too spend thousands on a paint job im gonna fuck up. so i went too a decal shop and had them make me " rivets" i then went ahead and " riveted" my truck...

fender..

i did all the panels seperate as i didnt want the rivet lines too match as they dont on the real plane..

brought the truck back home too do some more work..

primed the front frame section..

like my redneck garage???

front frame painted..

whats left of my old truck..lol

the progress so far..

masking tape and sawzall are my friends...

roof be gone...

who needs a roof anyways..or ruf too you guys...

ahhh thats better...

adding runners too the cage...

then we welded the w/s frame from the old blazer too the new cab..

carrying on with the fighter plane theme.. added some speed holes into the plate that secures the windshield frame too the cage. no windshield frame movement on this truck...

and too give it more of a cockpit look we added down bars..
