I have a 1984 chevy k10 and i am putting a sm465 in place of a 700r4, well anyways i bought this off ebay and im wondering if it is the right z bar to frame bracket that i need. I know there is a longer one but is there anyway i can use this? I have all the parts of the linkage but im wondering if this is the right bracket. I can get the other longer one, but do i really need this and yes i have searched and i cant find any linkage pics, if you have any please post them.

But that is the longer bracket. Btw i have the bellhousing that has the ball stud in it. Any help would be appreciated. This isn't going to be a trail rig so i don't have to worry about the linkage binding.

the ebay one doesnt look right. mine is the one in the photo bucket.

fwiw, you cant realy go by the p/b one because that is a 60-6 body and the stud is on the motor. ill take some pics of mine later on today.

you can see that mine is the longer one and how it is positioned to line up with the bellhousing.
