14 bolt FF carrier help

Well after a google search led me to a very impressive write up about the corporate 14 bolt here on pirate I am very thankful to those who took the time to put it together. I just purchased a 14 bolt with 4.10's in it with the intentions of re-gearing with 4.88's. (which the guy at summit told me I was capable of doing with the stock carrier)

So now that I have figured out that in order to do this I need a new carrier does anyone know where I can find one? Boyce equipment sells them for $125 plus shipping, but is this a good price?

You can use the stock carrier and a set of "thick" gears, or use the 4.56 up carrier with regular gears. Your call.

Well after reading about thick gears i called summit and talked to their tech department and they say that this set i have is meant to go on the carrier I have, so they must be thick gears. I guess I'm just going to continue on and see if what I have works and go from there.

I really appreciate all of the help guys!
