Speedometer calibration on 88 suburban 700r4
Got an 88 suburban, 350TBI/700r4/Np208. Is there a way to recalibrate the speedometer like on a Turbo 350. The manual says something about a VSS but my transfer case has only one wire going to it and that is the 4wd indicator wire. The speedometer cable screws into the transfer case and the housing is held into the transfer case with one bolt, just like on a turbo 350.Does the older 700r4 have a gear in the TC like the turbo 350 or is there a differrent method for recalibration. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
