You dont want to run 4in blocks in the rear. Blocks are bad especially under a loaded acceleration situation.

Contact a spring company not a lift company and have the proper springs made to retain the overloads

X2 on NO BLOCKS, if anything do 4in spring in the front and a shackle flip in the rear. Blocks will give you some bad axel wrap.

Alright so on break did some googling and shackle flip it is. It will actually save me money vs. Blocks and keep my towing capacity like I want. So any advice on front springs? There's a pair of 4" in Craigslist for 100 bucks no idea on brand. Just says they have a higher spring rate for big block application.

Alcan or BDS springs.

Lots of budget suspension kits use blocks, they can contribute to axle wrap, and while I don't recommend them for offroad use, I did wheel my truck for a while with blocks before I got my shackle flip built.

As for the front springs, 100 bucks isn't bad, verify spring length and width prior to buying them. You will find that most lift springs have about 46" between spring eyes, and it screws up the shackle angle for the front springs.

But yeah, check um out. Look for any cracked leaves before you give him the money.

I wasn't to worried about axle wrap going to run a anti wrap bar. What length are stock front springs and width? Id say from what I remember last time I looked is estimate 3 inch wide My truck is a 75' 3/4 ton. What should I be looking for as far as eye to eye length. Shorter or longer than 46"? I'll be going to look at them in about 3 hours

So I got the springs. They're in really nice shape. Definitely a high spring rate. But they're 2.5 inches wide and my stockers are 3. Will this be a problem? I did notice I difference in the brushing between the 2 and it seems the bushing will take up the extra 1/4 inch per side when mounted? Any ideas

the best part is that they have been doing it this way since at least 1960.

Not saying he isn't right. Just don't say it like that. Every lift kit I've seen says 2.5 inch wide springs for my application. So It confused me. Nowhere have I found a lift spring 3 inches wide.

Yes 2.5 inch springs with a shouldered bushing will fill the hangers. I cant really comment on the 3" stock vs 2.5 think cause I've never bought a truck stock TBH.

And dude to run 4in blocks and an anti wrap bar is like 2 steps back and 1 step forward. Do it right the first time.

Im not running blocks. Ordered the shackle flip. What I meant to say is I'm running a anti wrap bar anyway. The stock springs had some wrap to begin with. I think going to get the ord greasable bushings
