I think the best thing to do would be to find a Dodge NP205 with a 29 spline input.... I think these were found in '89 - '93 Dodge diesel trucks with the manual tranny. The auto trans 205 is 23 spline. I think you could probably use a round pattern Chevy 205 and buy a 29 spline input shaft and swap it in! But I don't know for sure.

BTW, I just googled "Dodge nv4500 np205" and I found a ton of info.... and it only took maybe 5 minutes. The above info was found during this search, as I have never tried to adapt an np205 to anything other than the sm465 that mine was bolted to in my '79 Chevy.

the dodge 205 is hard to find, uses a male 29 spline input and sleeve setup, and a cast iron adapter. much easier to use a chevy round pattern 32 spline, and change the mainshaft to chevy. thats whats in my truck. if you use the short 32 spline input it bolts on with a trimming of the mounting flange on the nv. if you use the long one you'll need a spacer from advance adapters.

Why not just use a Chevy NV4500? Wouldn't that be easier than swapping the mainshaft?
