I have a 86 chevy K10 shortbox,i only use it for muddin,i recently smoked my 700r4 and i am going to throw in a th400 that i have layin around. What all has to be done to make this happen? i.e. mounting, drive shaft length etc... Thanks in advance

i recently did the same thing, i believe it pretty much a bolt on, im running a 205 behind my 400, what you have to do is plumb in the vacume for the shift module in the intake or the port behind the carb, i had to mock up a shifter for my 205, but u should learn how to search, all this info is on google

It bolts in very easily, delete this thread and post it in the newbie section if you really can't figure it out

Alright Guys,thanks for the info,and the search link. I'll know next time,just needed some info so i can get parts before I get my junk up on the lift.

You will need driveshafts everything else is common sense and bolt on.
