So I'm running an LS1 motor with a 4L60-e behind it.
I Swapping out for a th400.
What if anything do I need to do with the computer now that I wont be utilizing the lock up torque converter switch nor the electrical shift wiring?

If you have HP tuners or equivalent you can turn off all of the fault codes related to the transmission. Several faults will come up for missing shift indicator, incorrect line pressure, no speed sensor, ect.

This is detailed on a different forum specific to the engine your using, it has step be step with photos. It is not a 4x4 forum, but I don't think I am allowed to post a link to it.

Just have the PCM tuned to remove the 4l60e auto tune. PM waynehartwig he is a sponsor here and can do the tuning.

What would you suggest for a VSS ?
I'll be mating and atlas 2 to the th400.

Can't you get an atlas with a VSS? Or just have him tune it with out one.

I would run a 4l80 and use its rear VSS. That way you would have OD. All you do is buy the stub harness or repin and add the VSS as well has have to tune the PCM.

really dude... does it really seem like posting a link would be that big of a deal. i mean if you did, you would be doing so to help somone. about the only thing that will get you banned on pirate is dropping the N bomb or the like. i wouldnt really worry about consequences on here unless your being a racist asshole or trying to rip somone off. pretty much eveything else seems to be kosher.
