Square Body Lovin.
This is my post for my "problem".
They keep coming, and I can't turn them away, so it's a "build thread" for the fleet. A little bit of wheeling, towing, DD'ing, And likely a new K5 to replace my old one.......So bear with me or don't. Lets start with the current stable. This is the oldest in the current fleet. When the small block threw a rod, it got stripped for rebuild and it`s still in that state, 2 years later......It's moving to the shop asap to go back together..... ![]() ![]() Next on the list is the Big green Beast dubbed "Princess" It's a 60/14, Built 454 with I would bet a solid 400hp, on propane, th400/205. It's more lift than I like, but she's a priss, running 38" X-terrains on 18s, for a few more days anyways....... The hood and bumper where built in house, I really want to make a mould of the hood ![]() ![]() ![]() We've got the light duty hauler up next........ 3+3 Dually 2wd with a 350/th400. It's getting the cummins I've had squirreled away, and a 4x4 conversion with the Disco 60 that came out oof the cummins donor....Under the knife soon. ![]() One of the newest additions is hereby dubbed the "Slut" New shop truck, 4" lift with a 3" body, Fresh(ish) 350, th350/203 It's getting a makeover for mild wheeling, shop errands, firewood, basically bitch work. ![]() ![]() ![]() And the heavy hitter.......I have a 3+3 cab getting prepped for it, and a long ass deck on the desk getting drawn up. Cat diesel 10 speed, single axlle and 27,000lb GVW. Getting set up for 2 rigs and long haul comfort.

Gutted the interior on the Slut. Need to make it comfortable for anyone to drive, so out with the nasty bench, and in with some cherry k5 buckets on Suburban brackets. Drill one hole and cut one bracket on the plasma table and they're a simple fit using the existing outer holes. A little rockerguard on the floor, new black paint throughout, paint a pre-80 dash up and it's a little bit nicer for DD duty.

"Eduardo" likes your style and wishes there were fancy plans in store for him other than a life of abuse and neglect.

Eduardo looks good. These where meant to work, not sit idle, I'm just trying to rescue as many as I can.
This followed me home today. 40s on 16s for Princess, which means the slut gets the hand-me-down 38s on 18s. The drivetrain is all spoken for, but It has a bestop softtop with it, and if I have my way, she'll stay in the stable......Anyone else see where it's going? ![]()

Ive had 23 73-87(91) style GMs, I love them. They are such good rigs. Kinda remind me of Legos.

Yup. I have about 6 trucks worth of front doors and front clips, dash pads, basically I save the good stuff. I've had at least a dozen of them. And more showing up on a regular basis.

...some people adopt kids from needy homes...others rescue animals from shelters and bad situations...but here on the chevy forum, we realize the importance of saving the old square bodies!
Love your stable of trucks, and I admire your drive to take on that many projects at once. I can barely keep two going, let alone 6. Subscribed, excited for the "builds thread" and keep the pictures comin
