Buick 455 into a Chevy????Anyone???

I haven't been on here in some time, but I am trying to find out if anyone out there knows of any kind of manufacture that makes bellhousings to put a Buick 455 in to a Chevy Blazer with a manual trans. I just had this smokin 455 dropped in my lap, and would like to put in my Blazer just for fun, and I'm having a hard time finding any conversion info, and whether or not there is a conversion bellhousing for it. Or, if anyone has ever done it, and can point me to the right people. Thanks a million to anyone who has any info.

Rumor is, the late 70s to 81 GMC trucks were available with a Oldsmobile 5.7L diesel and SM465. The bell housing used in this truck would be useful to mate an SM465 with a Buick engine since this engine should have the BOP/BOC pattern.
What manual trans were you hoping to run? What year blazer?

Which means the quote I gave him exactly fits what he wants. I don't bother reading sigs, half the time people aren't talking about the the truck in it, and if they can't be bothered to list what they want to couple together in their question, I sure as hell ain't going out of my way to help 'em.

Couldn't you use the bellhousing from an old manual Pontiac? I know they'll bolt right to the Buick, but I don't know about the clutch situation.

you better hope that 455 stays healthy, those things are $$$$$ to fix or build. as said before, id look into an older manual that came behind one factory. good luck finding one, and when you do, more $$$$$. also wanna see what kinda tcase youll be able to adapt if you gotta switch trannies.

Cadillac 513 with a mid plate/adapter for running the SM465. Midplate is 1/4" thick steel.

Cadillac 508 with a 1/4" thick adapter for running the NV4500.

Both of course BOP pattern engine blocks and a good excuse to pic whore.
