Is it worth it
I know a guy whose truck got taken from the bank, it was a work truck but it didnt sell at the auction and i can get it for around 3k. Its a 2001 chevy 2500hd. 300k miles on it, new alternator, batt. everything else is clean but the rockers are rusted through and the bed rails have surface rust but i work at a body shop so im not concerned. All in all it runs great im just wondering if this would be a deal not to pass up.

the motor needs a rebuild, the truck has 300k miles, nothing else worth salvaging.
you can buy a wrecked 6.0 for 1200 WITH the wiring harness. walk away. better yet, run.
