![]() ![]() Seems as if I've been working backwords. Built a front driveshaft, flexed to it to test clearance and found that it smooches the trans pan. Also need to notch the frame for coilover clearance. Here's what it looks like now. Clearanced the front of the frame for the steering, got most the axle welded/gusseted, started mocking up the bumps, but they're going to be popped off so I can notch the frame ![]() Still working on my weld porn. I don't know how some of you fawkers melt wire and make it look so purrty

Get ready for the guys with the 22r's to start bitching and wining about why your truck has to be so loud. But you can have 2 beers by the time they make it over to the next trail.
I love it! |

Hey lucky, you may wan't to take a look at your rear spring hangers one more time. Being the overly critical ass that I am I would like to see you add some gussets in the middle of the spring hangers. The two you have on the ends are nice but offer little support to the energy from the spring that is applied to the middle of that span.
Build is killer, keep up the good work, its the only way you'll ever finish. Geoff,

Thanks guys ![]() Not really. I made some pads for the front bumps to land on, that's about it. Winter is our busy season, so I don't have much time, and even less motivation to work on it. |
