nope was getting ready but we moved out here. most of the guys i knew ran either the 3700 class and a few that went from js to other classes. Nice rig.
Is it possible to run two wheel drive on that course? or is it all mud? I'm trying to head out for the first race in march with a 2wd setup cause im shipping some more parts out here to finish this truck by then. thanks for the help.

I run most of the time in 2WD except for the sand bowl, the front end 'shovels' too much otherwise. I bet if I had better weight distribution it'd be fine. The only part that I could see you having problems in 2WD would be the first 'hairpin turn' in the bowl. There's really not a lot of mud to speak of if the track is dry, if its wet, all bets are off. I ended up running 1/2 a lap in front wheel drive the first race of last season, no problems aside from exploding an axleshaft.

I messed up and said there was a season payout for the sxs class too. As it turns out the season payout was only for the full size class. At only 50 bucks entry fee for the sxs class Kyle said there was no point keeping any for a season purse as it would be so low.
SO... I apologize for the misunderstanding on my part and conveying incorrect info.

It is my understanding that someone snuck a 8.8 swap past me in tech... but according to the rules currently axle swaps are restricted to models that were available in the vehicle from the factory. So you could swap a D44 into a 98 TJ in the c class but not a 9 inch.

Does an axle have to be one that came out of the same vehicle? For instance, i know you cant do the 8.8 into a Jeep. But since D44 was offered, could you take a D44 from another vehicle to put in it? The ZJs came with the D35 (which mine has) and a crappy D44a. Could I get a traditional D44 to put in? Wouldnt be in the budget anytime soon but would be nice to know

I just tore the buggy down. Im going to redo all the wiring and add FAST FUEL efi. Im also going to put in new seats and mount my harnness difrently. Everything else seems good to go. I cant wait for next season. Also put in a siren from an ambulance, just for style points

All I'm doing to the XP is some additional lights and an intercom system. But I sure do hope we have a UTV class!
I know we kinda talked to Kyle about it last year, but is there anyway UTV's can run the full race? instead of an hour plus a lap? I'm sure there are people that don't want to do that but if I'm gonna drive an hour and forty five minutes i might as well race as long as i can! is the track layout going to change this year? Every indication from my conversations with Kyle is that there will be a UTV class next year. We just need at least 3 to show up to the first race to make a class.
I am planning on running in the Unlimited UTV class in the stadium lite buggy. I would be all about running the full two hours. Most of the time last year we ran the full two hours even after the checkered flag. We just made sure not to get in the way of the trucks.

To be honest.... its up in the air. The full size rig classes are getting bigger and the sxs classes seem to be shrinking. Its becoming a safety Concern. The were a few drivers from the qualifier that were really nervous racing with the sxs's.

I kinda figured that there might not be a sxs class this year.it does get a little crazy trying to pass some of the a,b,c guys just because we come up on them so quick they usally dont see us coming.hopefully they do have sxs this year but if not there is always other places to race.Only reason I race there is because thats the only time you can really open up and ride hard just cruising around in a sxs gets boring real quick.
