You have the right regulator. It gets T'd into the pressure line. Take your pressure line going to the rail and add a T somewhere. Hook the extra leg of the T to the inlet of the pressure regulator, hook the outlet to the return on your tank. That's all you need to do. It would be wise to at least hook a gauge to that 1/8" port for setting your pressure though.

Thanks for confirming what I had thought. I cobbled together a tee with parts from NAPA and it runs! I still need to get a pressure gauge.

Pictures from the first flex yesterday. I was planning to make it out tomorrow; a bunch of folks will be wheeling in Farmington tomorrow. I just have so much to do! The test drive might be in California.

Yep... I thought I would be able to run the flares on the front. They have been removed again. This is on 5 1/2" of suspension lift and 1" body lift. No trimming in the front. I trimmed the back fenders now as well; the wheelbase is strecthed to 106".
The front driveline wasn't working... and that had nothing to do with the driveline construction. My front 60 is very narrow at 63 1/2" WMS. That has caused a lot of frustration during this build. I had to cut up and relocate all my front suspension brackets to make them fit on the axle and still the pinion is so far to the passenger side that it's hard to avoid the side of the transmission and the exhaust. I ended up putting in my old driveline from the old YJ. It's a Tom Wood's two-piece. I am hopeful it will work. I am very concerned about potential vibration because of the angle at which I have the first joint set. Time will tell, but the first shaft definitely won't work. I talked with Tom about it today and he said he would take the other shaft back. That's great; especially since it really wasn't a driveshaft issue. We're cutting off the rear lower shock mounts now. The shock tubes rubbed on the axle tube during articulation. Hoping to drive it soon!

Keep it going buddy, you will make it. By the time I make the lakebed, I want to hear all kinds of war-stories and bench racing from your race...
#129 is ready to roll. GPS mount from Stinkyfab is in and being mounted, that was the last thing to do.. Hang in there Jason, you got it handled I know...

Thanks for all the encouragement. You're right; the timeline is nutty. I purchased this thing bone stock just about 72 days ago. It has been a ton of work and some fun as well. I am getting excited about the trip; I am bummed there has been virtually no testing completed. Our preliminary flexing did point to several problems we have hopefully overcome now. It looks like I will be ditching the front swaybar. Packaging is insanely tight and I would rather run without than one that's messed up and interfering with my steering linkage. We'll also most likely be without rear bumps; just out of time.
Noticed my seatbelt were the wrong mounting style this weekend and reordered new... to arrive tomorrow. We got the front driveline and rear shock mount issues addressed today. The graphics are done as well... ![]() Here's a picture of what I did for the fuel pressure regulator. I am still not sure if I should be running the vacuum port connected or not. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Don't connect the vacuum port. It's only for Boosted Engines.
