Looks like you may be one short in the Pro-Mod class. Dayton was a little rough on my rear axle housing so a new one is being built to replace it . My biggest lead time on parts is the axle shafts so hopefully I can get them in time! Keeping my fingers crossed!

It's the same as the RROCK Legends class.

It was decided in the RROCK Mafia meeting today that new for 2012 will be added progression points as you go through each set of gates. Example: Gate 1 will be worth 1 progression point, Gate 2 will be worth 2 progression points, Gate 3 will be worth 3 progression points, etc....I will have a calculator on all clipboards to make the addition easier for the judges and will be adjusting the score sheets accordingly.

I think it is quite a bit more open than the Legend's rules unless the RROCK rules have opened up. I know Tracy Jordan ran the Rock Bug and Bruce Zeller ran a single seat buggy in the sportsman class in a west event.

I think you can run "sportsman" in any class

trail class is just a catch all for guys that want a challenge but not destroy their rigs.

All depends on what kinda rig ya have. 3 outta 4 sportsman rolled at Dayton. The 4th rig never made it to the point where others rolled, or it woulda been 4 outta 4. Sportsman class is fairly open a long as you have all required safety equipment. Tire size limited to 40" (I think). It will test your driving/spotting skills. Courses should be easy for a buggy, but fun and challenging for most full/semi bodied rigs, with frame rails. Not as extreme as Pro-Mod courses, but not trail riding either.. Come check it out

Starting a week of vacation to finish up. I am using all of the vacation days I don't need to run comps to get done and running. I am heading to the shop now to put in the long hours required to finish everything this week.

Grades are entered for my welding students so I am done with teaching for the semester. My back is in pretty good shape. Scope and biopsy all checked out good on my internals. Had great help this weekend to start the final push on prep work. Lots to do so I am done typing for a week. See ya in Hannibal!

Now I hope I will have some time to learn to drive with three times the horsepower. I see myself getting into trouble already.

Glad your doing better to Josh. I think its more "crazy" than love.
Getting three trucks ready to go proved to be far more work than I ever thought. What was I thinking?

Nick and I will roll in about midnight on Friday, Jeremy and Josh may ride out with us but they were talking about heading out after work so that would put them there about 9:00 Friday night.
