Yep, he is delivering the buggy to a guy on the lakebed....and he gets to watch the KOH spectacle. How cool is that?
I personally would wheel it for a week and then hand it over.

I'm plugging the motorhome in this morning to charge the house batteries and get the fridge cold. We'll start packing up the food and clothes tomorrow.
Wednesday evening right after work I'll hook up the trailer and strap the Jeep onto it. We'll head out first thing Thursday morning. Both of us could only get 2 days off work. Good thing we're only about 3 hours away. |

I would say, he's the first official casualty. The State of New Mexico loves to suck people in and never leaving. Unless you have a large pocket book.

Trucking towards Phx via 40 west right now, about 200 miles away. Heading to lakebed from Phx tomorrow morning. Look for "KOH" in electrical tape on the top left of our back door on the toter...
Can't say we've spotted any other KOHers, maybe passed one on our way out of Amarillo this morning? Was hard to tell, wasn't a buggy but a built up TJ maybe?

Well we can put a clutch in the truck ourselves, just need our trailer towed to lake bed. Our truck will drive just not with the trailer. We are on the phone with insurance company right now, but they are trying to figure out how to tow our truck and trailer. they told us they can tow us for free to nearest qualified facility but they dont have one listed out here so we are fighting with them to tow us to the lake bed. The Napa in 29palms has the clutch kit we need.
