i've posted a couple times about the 'spirit of KOH'---
but you guys SHOWED the spirit of KOH and what makes this the best event in the world !!!! You brought back the 'roots' of the world of wheelin in a big way-- it isn't all about the $$ or the machine---- it's the heart and soul of the driver and crew !!!!! YOU showed the WORLD what can be done if your heart is in it !!!!! THANK YOU for the inspiration to 'keep-on-truckin' !!!

I just read your entire thread. Its truly an inspiring story about skill and making that rig last. I am still in shock that you made it with a map, no navigation and the same dirty air the rest of us were breathing. Well done, guys.

Right on thanks Krusty. Its exciting to think that we can help others and inspire them to follow there dreams. This was all just a dream to me until the day it came to reality. Were already thinking about what were going to do the rest of the year and of course next year at KOH.

First off CONGRATS! Your are what the EMC race was supposed to be. Not going to bash on others but you were the guy who had a rig and did a few things to make it meet tech to race. That is EMC not a Ultra 4 car with parts swapped out. My brother and I wanted to enter but couldnt get the items needed hope to do it next year.
As for the main race that was epic! I was at Jack hammer and sledge and the crowd blew up for you compared to the other drivers. Your were the KOH local fav that day. What does it feel like to say you beat robby gordon in a toyota haha ![]() What are the plans for 2013 KOH? Again Congrats! |

Thanks for the support. We are already working out the details for next year. As of right now im not sure what we are going to do. We are looking for sponsors to help us out. I hope whatever we bring works as good as this truck did.

I have to say man, seeing your rig come up chocolate thunder and stall out when the carb didn't like the angle was one of the highlights of my KOH experience. I thought it was absolutely awesome to see your full bodied leaf sprung rig in the main race. You've really got me motivated to try and get into the EMC next year. Congrats on the finish and good luck with future endeavors. You are an inspiration to those of us still dreaming in our garages with beat up, low dollar, leaf sprung rigs.

I have been following this thread for a while now, and I have to say that it was an honor to work the pits for team A.D.D., each time you guys rolled through. You guys kicked A$$, with a ton of heart. I look forward to seeing you again next year.

Great job guys, way to represent the old school... I know we're all hoping to see it again next year!

We are just running stock toyota dual case setup. It has always worked good. In some of the really technical crawling sections it would be nice a little lower. We did bottom out but not a lot.The truck was much better in the deset after fox tuned the shocks. We werent even running any bumpstops in the front and just a simple rubber type in the rear.
