Team Red Bull selling everything
Life has changed with our focus on our sons finishing high school and building bonds with them as young adults. All of our time has been dedicated to them and when we're not focused on them, we're busy buying/remodeling/ and re-selling houses in our immediate neighborhood so we can be close to the boys versus living on the road. With the changes we've seen, we can take the money from the amazing vehicles we own and put that toward our new business instead of working off of hard-money loans that carry high percentage interest rates. At this point, we know it'll be at least 4 years until we get back involved in the offroad world, but more likely 6. It would be tragedy to see everything sit for that long versus going to good use.
It's a bummer to realize we're this far out of wheeling right now but really, it makes the most sense. So here's the deal...we'll be putting ads together for our vehicles over the next couple weeks but are putting this out there now in case someone might be interested sooner. The toter and trailer will be sold together. We've got about $130k invested, the set-up is worth about $105 in this market if we're willing to wait for the right buyer, we'll be offering the complete setup at a price of around $90k. The RockHer 1 has been for sale for $28k for a couple months and although we've had a couple of bites, there hasn't been anything solid...we'll be dropping the price to $24k. That ad is here: /forum/vehicles-trailers-sale/1016214-red-bull-rockher-1-competition-rockcrawler-sale-san-diego.html The RockHer II is race-prepped and ready to kill it in the pro mod class at W.E.ROCK. The rig has a ton of trick shit in it and the parts in it are ridiculous expensive to purchase. When figuring a price to build a sister to the rig, BTF was saying they couldn't do it for less than $75k. We'll offer it up at $32k...and again, it's just been thru a full race-prep and is ready to rock. The KOH TJ...a wicked-fun rig that would actually do amazing for a number of Ultra4 racers as the suspension and handling is really incredible. No, it's not a 110 mph rig, but does haul the mail at over 80 and LOVES the whoops. It's also a great trailrig and could be made street legal in many states...even Cali with a tiny bit of work (we have the parts). It's got over 10K in shocks alone. I have no idea what it's worth...will be looking into that a bit more, but yes, even the TJ is for sale. ![]() This entire revelation came about in the past couple of days...it's really turning my stomach and Bec's pretty bummed as well. Still, as I've said before, we retired from competition to be with our teenage sons more and seeing as we're following thru on spending our time with them, it's just crazy to let everything sit. If anyone is interested in chatting about any of the rigs and you are actually serious (not just tire kickers), then give me a ring on my cell (619) 820-3332.

Dustin we chatted about this during live feed and it bummed me out to hear and at the same time it was a REAL inspiration. A lot of us "web wheelers" who have a day job, and a family, who are building a rig with spare cash after bills and stuff are paid, DREAM about living a life like the Websters. And here you are selling everything we dream about and trading it in for the life of an average Joe in order to have what most of us do(that we sometimes regret absorbing too much time from what we want to per-sue). It really puts things into perspective.
Best of luck on the sale. And safe travels on the road you and Becca have chosen to travel with the young men you are raising. Gary |

You can't sell what's between your ears or the friends and contacts you've made in the industry. It's a temporary change of pace, all ready to GO when you put the hammer down a few chapters from now.

If not, sell it as EMC Modified class legal. ![]() Quote:

Your doing it all wrong. You should have spent all your time with them when they were younger. Teenagers are total pain in the ass.
Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the responses...and yes, I thought about April Fools Day and even if everything sold before then, somehow the RockHer would get stolen anyway!
![]() The TJ has hydraulic steering but could EASILY meet the Modified class rulings with a steering swap. With how fast it is in the desert sections, it would do well in that class and I ALMOST threw my hat into the ring this last race because of the class. As for the toter and trailer...yeah, it's so perfect for our sport, being able to drive 2 rigs in without having to move what you're storing all around. We really did do things right. As for the kids, yeah, teenagers are usually a PITA but we've got a couple of great kids. We did spend a ton of time with them when they were younger as we just took em with us whenever we had to go to an event or competition or show. Once they hit high school, you can't just drag em everywhere as they have other commitments. So really, this focus on them is a continuation of what we've already been doing all of their lives...we just are now on their schedule versus them being on ours. It has been great! And yes, we will be back...time really does fly by,

Come out to Superstition one last time this weekend! I wish I could fit the toter at my house. On second thought, I still cant figure out how you fit it at yours!
I really loved the few times I got to experience hanging out with you guys. So much fun and learning. Good luck with your sale! Kevin Hedstrom |

And with these' it's pretty much all I've got until we get the toter and trailer out of storage and unload all of our gear so we can get shots. If you remember it from our original build, it's a rear-door toter and we installed a front door in the trailer that allows access when driving down the road for those that are not worried about walking across a small open deck without falling off at 75 mph.
That trailer door leads to a queen bedroom and pass-thru to the main storage of the trailer.

What a great mom and dad. Spending time with their kids and putting family 1st. Thats the way it should be. Although i am sad to see you sell everything i agree with the choice and thinks its the right choice. I will always remember being a part of the REDBULL team at KOH and its true your rigs are awesome and are steals at that price.
Cant wait till you make your comeback!!

Good luck Dustin, 'fraid I'm not going to be able to help you move out of this travel rig at this point but I was dreaming when I bought the last truck so who knows. After buying the old "Redpull" dually, I'd highly recommend the Webster Buying Experience, the truck and camper were all they were supposed to be and it was great hanging with the Websters when we picked it up and had some questions afterward. They even found the winter cover for the grille and despite having no clue what it was for (tropical natives) shipped it up to the frozen land for me.
