X2. Looking for more info as well. Never done anything like this, and thinking the trail mod class sounds like fun. I found the rules, but no info on what the course looks like.... is it tough truck style, rock courses or what? Any pics or videos of past events?

How many ultra4 rigs wanna sack up and do some night wheeling after the race?

I bet the other undertakers Andrew and Hayseed will be game. Then drive home sunday.

Were gonna drive up thursday and camp till sunday morning.

We are going to be there thursday as well and staying until sunday. There is going to be a lot of 4400 cars, hope the course can handle everybody.

its going to be at area bfe.. so its going to be a pretty slow course.. with lots of rocks passes will be fairly hard.. it should be really cool i wish i was going to be ready!

ps this is just me guessing i have no actually idea of what part of bfe will be used .. but none of it is really high speed.

unless you just do 100 laps around the test area

Thats what im wondering. I cant picture bfe having much high speex. Maybe a pass through the comp course than up the dirt to greenday...????

We will head in thursday-sunday. I assume we can camp on site?

Ok here is the DEAL
Some of the locals have pre run a course for us - Josh and I will be taking a look at the course they have laid out - knowing BFE it will be a slower than usual course but I will know more on Wednesday night

Rich, how about some BASIC info for someone who's never seen or been involved in one of these events, in the trail/mod class. Is winching going to be likely, do I need a co-driver, length of the course/race, etc. please.

We have never needed to winch (yet) but if there will be a course where is might be needed this could be the place but like I said I have not seen the proposed course yet.
Course should be about 4 miles.
Trail class race will be 1 hour in length with a grand prix finish.
Trail classes draw for start position.
We will have recovery rigs positioned where most likely needed.
Co-driver is highly recommended
Be ready for a fun time....

One rule question, please. Door bar/side protection. Do I need tubes on the cage for door bars, or are factory lower half doors considered side protection?

Friday April 6th
Course Pre -run 9am-12pm must reg onsite first
Tech and official reg 4pm-7pm at the Cabo Grill downtown Moab

Saturday April 7th
Late tech 6:30am must call Big Rich before 6pm on Friday 4/6
Drivers meeting 7:30 am
4400 qualifying 8am
Utv race 9:30
4500/4600 11am
4400 2pm
