This was my favorite track to date. We broke a u joint in our rear Driveline on the first lap but still had a decent race and finished second in c class

new site is great, glad to see you got Larry's good side for his win photo.

congrats Ken on your first B class race, second place first time out in the new class is bad-ass! how did the new set-up for the jeep work?

I just noticed that bryan is in b class now too, still running the gold ranger and how did it do? what mods did you do to it also?

Best run race yet. Had a knarly flip in roscoes dust but somehow stuck the landing on an endo 360 with a heel click. Hans device paid dividends. Took 30 seconds for the in brain video to come back. Car is trashed....happy for the win!

Had a great time. The course was great I liked all the man made jumps. Got in a little crash at the start with the explorer. Iflopped over on my side got it back up, then lost all battery power co driver ran back to camp got battery and we got to see the finish line. Glad to see know one got hurt in all the crashes.

i really liked the high speed stuff, running that long bumpy road towards the back of the park was a blast we were well into third gear on the limiter and it was a blast.

we were chatting and wondering when the tires were going to fall off.

Great work kyle and Larry, possibly the best race course yet!! Can we get some lap times posted as we hit 70+ in the xj multiple times and want to see how we did lap to lap. Two flats and a track bar bolt coming out hurt our running up front with fish but we had a blast.

It was an awesome course.

Will lap times be posted here or trec website? We would love to see them, please.

One idea, countdown digital clock at check point for cars to see current race time?

Trec

Thanks guys-

I like the idea of the digital timer too. I will talk to Kyle about that.

We had a hell of a race. By the second or third lap the steering box keept getting looser (it was in bad shape before we started), we broke a sway bar link that managed to wedge itself in the front driver side spring and we ran the last two laps on a flat pass. front tire... No hole, I think it broke the bead and the reseated itself??? Got lucky on that one. We were in a long sweeper in the quarry and heard a loud "PSSSSHHHT". I told steve "I think we just got a flat!!?? F' it keep going!"

Trecwithus.com has been updated with the recent winners and a video of the race is below and on the trecwithus.com homepage. TREC March 31st race - YouTube
We have included the winners within the Youtube description to help with the search engines. If you guys could, please go onto trecwithus.com and do your racer profile so that we dont have the "no pic" in the recent winners area. Its simple to do and you can click here to access the online form.
The race times will be added to the results page shortly.

Thanks and let us know what we can do better.

Thank you - see what'cha get when you've got women in the race.....

Speaking of...a few of us ladies and gents were talking about wanting to do a powder puff/all female race at some point this summer. Perhaps a 45 minute or 1 hour race before a regularly scheduled race - that way the guys can still race for their points in the season. This would give all the gals a chance to to jump in the driver and co-driver seats and let her rip!? Then proceed with the normal race? Do you think that is something we could try to do once this season?

The creek section was awesome. This course definately had a great variety of all terrains mixed in with a few high speed sections. Loved it.
