2013 Dakota Territory Challenge

When: August 29th - September 1st
Where: Black Hills - Rapid City, SD
What: Best Rock Crawling Event in the Hills.

We have every level of crawling. From beginner and scenic trails to the hardest crawling you will want to put up with on vacation.

Some important news for the 2013 event:

- New Campground Owners!! Had some issues with the last couple of owners but the new ones are awesome. They are in it for the long haul, have a huge list of improvements they are starting on. It's going to be great

- 3 New trails that are going to be offered only during this event. Theses are fresh and mostly hardcore trails.

- Crawl Lotto, if the normal hardcore trails are not enough for you then sign up for our extended super fun hardcore wheel adventure. Jason Paule will take you on 3 days of the coolest hardest stuff available in the Hills. Follow if you can.

Application can be found here: Black Hills 4-Wheelers Under the Dakota Territory Challenge tab or here App Link

If you have never been to this event you are missing out! Plenty of spots still available. Any questions contact me via PM or via the contact info on the app.

I'll check into it but I think all of the vehicles need to have liability insurance. Other then that I think it would be okay.

How long and wide? We have had plenty of fullsize rigs show up and run. Sheetmetal might be rearranged when it's over however.

Such as this shortened Ford:

71" wide up front, 130" WB, 25" ground to frame. 50 steering helps me.

Its an 06 tacoma double cab with 4link rear/3link front with tube bed and hopefully cab exo by then

Should be fine. Have had several similar types of trucks before. The rear bedsides and lights are always areas that are likely to get tagged. The steering will definitely help, toys tend to be narrower then the full size Chevy's.

Scotts truck has faired pretty well

We were out there last weekend. Great weather, Great people, Great wheeling. Even did the Sugar Shack Shuffle a few times.

One of my favorite events of all time! I wanted to go this year but Fred Williams will be there in my place.

Bumppp!!

Some of the best wheeling in the US. Nothing here to get bored of on and off the trail. Wheel the mild, all the way to the wild. So many trails to go on and a great group of people hosting.

OOhhhh and dont forget to bring some pretty passengers

Dtc 2013

It will mark 21 years since I first wheeled Dakota, been to 12 challenges and I'll be there in two weeks.

Thanks to the Black Hills 4 Wheelers.
