I was out there after the comp. Rumor has it that registration was free and only about a dozen competitors showed up. Saw Curtis McNiels rig in town.

The course looked really tough. Everything was on the slanted bedrock of the rim and covered in loose gravel. Big boulders and even bigger holes. Any rolls looked like they could be nasty.

course was nasty, registration was not free.
we did offer a 100% payout.

event turned out way smaller than we thought. our promo guy had little time to work with to get crowd and competitors.

we all had lots of fun, and the general coments from the competitors was that they will come to the future events.

nobody made gate 5, not even winching when we set up the course we thought that would be the easiest gate.

will post pictures soon

How were you setting up courses? Just pick lines visually or driving them first?

Which one was gate 5? Was it the one with the HUGE hole where the Mt. Logan guys lost thier knuckle / tire? It looked to me like the course went though the hole then up that nasty hill with the verticle wall at the top. I didn't see a lot of black marks at the top.
