N.A.R.R.C.A. Goldendale Washington, event update:



Friday, September 5th
1pm –7pm Competitor sign-in and vehicle tech (Car Quest Auto Parts, 614 S. Columbus St. Goldendale) All vehicles will be displayed on Columbus Street after Tech and before parade.
7:30pm Competition vehicle parade thru downtown.
8pm Judges meeting (location to announced)
8pm Get together (band and JayCee’s beer garden) at the City Park.

Saturday, September 6th
8am –10am Late registration and tech (fairgrounds)
10am Drivers meetings
11am Start of competition
3:30pm Projected end of first day competition
8pm Street Party Downtown (Band)

Sunday, September 7th
10am Drivers meeting
11am Start of competition
3:30pm Projected end of competition
4:30pm Awards Presentation (fairgrounds)


Recommend Lodgings

Farvue Motel 509-773-5881 808 E. Simcoe Dr., Goldendale (Good parking around back for trailers) Pool, Restaurants, and Gas stations.

Ponderosa Motel 509-773-5842 775 E. Broadway, Goldendale (trailer parking limited to nearby areas)

Competitor Camping and R.V. parking

Cottonwood R.V. Park 509-773-3543 400 N Columbus Ave. (Located right next to city Park, Please all competitors use this park)

Whats up with the late start and short wheeling day?? If there is not that many entries how about more stages per day? We will try to be there.

We're trying the late start to help with the spectator count. So instead of finshing 1-2 we expect to finish a little later, Thats all

We have 5 good courses set for each day. We see how the sign ins go, and may add accordingly

i could be there friday evening and saturday night if the boy will let me . . . I'd love to go!! I haven't been able to go to one yet because of the locations and the mass of days that I would have to take off from work.

That is like a trip to the corner store compared to the 18-24 hours drives to Utah and NM.

Plus it is only about 2 hours from Olympia.

Camping can be arraigned thru the Chamber of Commerce.

Camping at the fairgrounds will not be allowed, I believe there is camping at Sundays event site.

There are a number of areas that will be set up for spectator camping.

All competitors are asked to camp at Cottonwood RV park. It's nice to keep everyone together, or at least not spread all over the place.

i do day trip's to naches, day trip's to tillamook, heck i've gone to the hammer's just for one day before...

WOW! I was just going by mapquest, 3hr45min, 223 miles. So 2 hrs would be about 112mph.
