neuroc/erocc frame rules

im trying to get a game plan together for setting up my heep to compete in the legends class for the 2 sanctions but im a little confused when it comes to extending the frame.

neuroc rules say i can extend it 10" front or rear but the erocc rules dont say anything other than they dont want the tires going past the frame rails. what does that mean?

I'mm pretty sure...

it means you can shorten your factory frame rails but you can have a max of 89.9999999 degree aproach and departure angle. That said- I think they are pretty liberal with adding to the frame, stretching your wheel base etc as long as you keep the approach angle etc.

I don't know what is confusing about ERoCC's Legends frame rules:

Front front must exted to at least the front of the front tires.
The rear frame rails must be at least to the center line of the rear axle.

I don't think it says anything about extending the frame.

However, I might suggest you wait until ERoCC/Neuroc's rules for '04 come out before solidifying any frame modifications.

You may also want to keep tabs on the ERoCC forum. Any rules changes will be posted there, and you will be able to get questions answered directly.
