It was great seeing an 'almost' stock cherokee out there
Wish my boss would let me get away with a hair cut like that, or not a hair cut at all.

He ( Travis, or Eric? ) tried to hop up a ledge on a bonus gate and came down right on the front portion of a link ( within about 6" of the heim ). The heim broke right at the arm, I think it was about a 5/8" to 3/4" shaft. That let the rear end wrap up, and broke the 1410 yoke on the 60 to little junks.

I ended up helping them on saturday night to put the thing back together. There wasn't a 1410 yoke to be found anywhere so we modified a 1350ish yoke to work with a little grinding and welding. As far as I know it lasted the 2nd day?

Here is some ass standing by the not yet broken buggy

Tom agreed to spot a few months back and with his low overall opinion of the state of comps and wheelin,he was less than enthused to participate.Throw in the fact that he was sick fer the week before G-dale it's amazing he lasted as long as he did.Bottom line is he really didn't want to be there and with the heat, hair etc. it was touch and go from course to course. He did an awsome job and I would've gotten no where without him.The hundred bucks we won I'm handing over to him fer all his effort.

For Tom not wanting to be there you guys did one heck of a job. I am glad that he came out and I hope his opinion changes and get back into it. Between his personality and driving he is just to damn fun not to have out there.

Don't bag on the two guys. They are simply protecting the meth lab on the other side of the hill.

Flash Back Blues

Tom's having a flashback about this.

High bandwidth (1.1mb)

Dailup (360k)

Congrats to Jeepmauler and Tom for getting in the money.
Hope Tom gets back in to it as he's a blast to watch.
