Super Crawl III film to debute at Safari

I didn't write this press release, just passing it on. Should be a fun event in downtown Moab. They're blocking off a street by the Moab Brewery on Friday night (before Big Saturday). Read on for more info.

GOT ROCKS 4X4 TO “CLIMB” THEIR WAY INTO NEW ROCKCRAWLING DOCUMENTARY FILM

[LEHI, UT] (02/16/2005) – On the infamous Easter Jeep Safari weekend, March
2005, in Moab UT, Got Rocks 4x4 will be debuting and releasing their
long-awaited first film of the “Find The Trail” DVD Series. Their film,
entitled “Climb – A Rockcrawling Evolution” is a high energy documentary
film reminiscent of the Dana Brown’s and Warren Miller’s of our time.
Featuring some of the world’s best in this motorsport, Bart Jacobs, Johnny
G, Carl Whitmore , and John Williams, lead the viewer through the ups and
downs of the UROC Supercrawl III World Championships and the historic
first-ever man-made Rockcrawling course. The free screening, open to all in
downtown Moab, will be held outdoors on a giant 100’ screen on Friday, March
25th.

Mark Patey, President of UROC said, “The guys at Got Rocks 4x4 have
hit the mark on this new film. They’ve set a new standard. What a treat!”
Nick Olson, President of Maxout Media told Got Rocks 4x4, “This is a must
have film for every enthusiast and professional alike. All will enjoy the
mix of action and information.“ Besides the film’s debut showing in Moab,
the DVD will feature never-before seen footage through a secret unlock code,
interactive menus, and will feature a soundtrack compiled of the best
independent bands in the country.

Look for the release of “Climb” available first at Moab Easter Safari. You
can also find it at HYPERLINK

Best Buy and in all 4x4 shops around.

From what I hear the film is top notch and the premier of the movie is going to be one hell of an event in Moab! There is not a beter time than the Jeep Safari in Moab to release the film.

I checked out the site. Some pretty cool stuff. Very well put together!
I hope to get off the ranch in time to actually check it out. These guys have some balls to throw a video out in broad site of the BLM and everyone. I only pray they pulled permits for the shoot days on those trails.
Good luck guys, let me know if I can help.

I got a chance to preview a rough copy of the movie and have got to say it's been done well. It's more of a documentary style film, focusing on SuperCrawl III but goes back to the roots of wheeling and how comps were started. It's exciting, lots of action, and deeper than the previous types of competition videos you're used to. Going to be a good time in Moab, and it looks like it may be Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
