PRAY for Travis Wadeson

Travis was T-Boned early this morning by a Semi in Vegas and is currently at University Medical Center. His injury's consist of a good handful of broken bones all down the left side. Please say a prayer for him, his wife Kari and the entire Twisted Custom/Rock Runner Racing Team.

On a side note: I'm looking for a ride back to Moab for the Rock Race since Trav is now stable and out of the woods. Please call my cell if you can pick me up off the 15 in Las Vegas on your way to EJS/Moab. 949.705.SURF.

thanks.

He broke his femur, hip, tail-bone, shoulder, and a rib. He punctured a lung, and there was bleeding on the brain. The bleeding on his brain seems to have gone down, and he's concious, remembers things, and talks about normal stuff. The lung is healing, and he's going into surgery for the shoulder today at 3. I think he might also need surgery on his leg soon. So keep him in mind during his surgery, but everything is looking good.

Get well soon Trav! I'll be there Thursday of next week for a trade-show. Let me know if you need anything.

Did the truck run a red light? We can round take care of him if you want

I believe it was a "tanker" type truck that barreled through the intersection/red light and tboned him pushing him over 250ft before coming to a rest next to a k-rail only a block from his house. There were 2 cars in front of Trav that went ahead of him once his light went green.

George, the Twisted Team and I were staying in Moab when we received the news which was not much more than "he was tboned by a semi, is in the trama center and is still alive." George and I jumped in the truck and headed to Vegas praying the whole way.

Trav is in a lot of pain this morning and will be needing all of your prayers and help now and in the future. Kari and Trav have a tough year a head, but with the help and prayers of the rockcrawling community we can rally around them to get Trav back in front of Paule's buggy next season.

Tim, thanks, but I have nothing to do with anything. I'm a sinner just trying to be the best ambassador for Jesus Christ out on the rocks & dirt that I can be.

Just left the hospital and am at the airport headed back to Moab: After the 3pm shoulder surgery they rolled Trav by us in the waiting room, in true Trav fashion, we got a thumbs up. Doctor confirmed the thumbs up and that all went well with his surgery. Another Praise the Lord was the news his fibula is only a slight fracture not requiring surgery.

After his shoulder surgery he had an MRI to checkout his neck. Although the results hadn't come in by the time I left, they did have his neck brace removed and he was sawing logs. They were also going to get him out of the Trama area and into a room. All good signs.

His parents, sister, Kari, lifetime SD friends and Hal are still with him. Rokn post some updates. We need to get the pics of the car up to show the true testament that the Lord has more planned for Trav (I don't believe in luck )

Recovery will be a long one so make sure you show some love and post up, Trav will have time to read the thread.

So far all the news is good news. As Steve said he's doing well as of tonight. Most of the breaks are non-displaced, and thus should heal well and somewhat quickly (compared to how bad it could have been). They put a plate on his collarbone to help it, but the fibula (not Femur which we originally had heard) tailbone, and rib should all heal up with rest. He'll be in the hospital for a little while longer to make sure his lung fully heals, but then he'll be home and rehabbing. He seems in good spirits, but it's killing him not having any music to listen to right now.
